暑い日，ぼくはジャズ飲み屋で夕方からビールを飲んでいた
マスターが見知らぬジャケットを壁にかけた
ビールのおかわりを注文した
夕立ちが降りはじめたなと思った
雨の具合を見に飲み屋のドアをうすく開けてみた
外からの強い西日がさしこんできた
"Nancy"を弾くオルガンのサスティンとホーンのオブリガードが
アスファルトを打つ水のように聞こえたのだった
